Clan history

In 2004 my friend Alex (Xel@) and I, Jan (N@J) started to play Halo. We used the {L°E°} tag because our city’s name is Leipzig, which the people call LE because it sounds a bit like L.A. After some weeks we decided to found the {L°E°} Clan on 28th November in 2004. We created our first homepage http://freenet-homepage.de/LE-CLAN/ and started to practise more and more on the Lord Clan Server.

 We didn’t think about recruiting, but one day a player asked to join {L°E°}. We were really proud of it and recruited our first  member ({L°E°}MoT) from UK. Our next member after that was {L°E°}DôôM. One day I watched some  halo montages and saw the awesome SIL3nT' playing. I started to talk with him and finally he joined the clan on 18th of July 2006. To our disappointment {L°E°}MoT left the clan and following Silent left a few weeks later as well because there wasn't any challenge for him anymore. I would play Halo and sometimes I would come across painchef aka {L°E°}pa1N  also came from Germany. I asked him again and again to join but eventually he gave in and finally joined the clan  in 2006. At first we used Skype to communicate and started to play our first wars. Then we got our own server and a new  homepage which to date looks quite professional and the server is quite stable. Sometimes wheez` from Austria joined our  server to pwn our asses. He didn’t talk to me, I use to say "hi" to him but he would never respond. He didn’t flame, team kill  or betray other players which was nice of him not to do. Finally in 2007 he surprised me and started talking,  I took the chance and asked if he want to join {L°E°} and he said "yes" but he didn’t want to use Skype so we tried out  Ventrilo and Teamspeak, but decided to use Ventrilo in the end.

 We played a "2on2" on our server with Takedown aka Takesterrr from Germany and Gizuh aka "the voice" from Netherlands.  I liked their skills and their team play, so we played together for a few more matches.  After that I asked both if they want to join {L°E°}, they both accepted. After them my Dutch friend and brother from another mother Zuesmeister and Flo  aka disturbed from Austria former  ²G asked to join, I was happy.  Next I recruited my brother inlaw h@rm in October 2007.  

 At night when I was playing there was a player with awesome skill and he was very nice.  It was Burma aka s0ad from Denmark, I didn’t waste time so I recruited him.  Then after that along came the almighty awesome Viking f0Mle from Norway.

Originally we decided not to recruit more than 10 players. We thought that if the clan was to grow too big it would be hard for all the members to get to know each other well and form a good friendship. Halo to us is more than a game, it’s a special spirit. We all have fun playing together and try not to take it too seriously. In 2008 {L°E°} Clan was and is still alive.

2008 is here and we are here against great odds with some new awesome and nice players from Germany and Portugal!! Jacko and rema1n from Germany wanted to join, in the end we decided to accept against our devices because every new player was an enrichment to {L°E°}.

Both had to leave because of some differences, but hey things like that happen! Still looking forward and watching for new players we recruit the human aimbot Sk0gN and others followed prayer, M.D.L., Shiva aka iBot, Kai and a nice player from Portugal {LºEº}f4r!@ <3 !!

2008 {L°E°} Clan - still strong-minded, strong-voiced and strong-willed!!!

2009

 A year with ups and downs. Some players left {L°E°} because of their departure from Halo. They are still a part of the community, shot outs to - Flo old mate, harm, $h!vA, MDL, Burma, gizuh, p4in and the famous Zues aka SoD, miss you all. Some of then are still around like flo, harm and Sod. Like {L°E°} isnt only a clan its also a lifestyle ;) !

Halo isn’t yet dead - we are proud to say "Welcome" to Error aka defiance who is always looking for it, the delegate of the UK - Zero, the primary rock Rikku aka Overkiller, the former h7w member Jimmy, the smart Twin from Netherlands and last but not least the charming Manic from UK.

About some troubles Rikku decided to quit {L°E°} and Jimmy stopped  playing Halo but he is still a proud {L°E°} „tag user“.

We created a new {L°E°} Logo, which you can see on top and also we designed some clothing stuff.

No one believes that but its a half decade of {L°E°}:

Unbelievable 5 years of existing as a clan in Halo. Big thanks to all Members they helped to reach that destination.

2010

One of the oldest Halo clans is still alive and active like never before.

New Members decided to join that Clan who isnt only a Clan so I'am really proud to say a „warmhearted“ welcome“ to:

a really nice, cool and handsome guy called eXprt from Belgium, our „hatchling“ Howard aka rZ`lm from Germany and last but not least our second mighty viking (not a vinkuheinä) qwerty aka {L°E°}eNiaL from Finland ;)

Furthermore we rented a second Halo PC Server and also playing in the Clanbase cup. Now we got a new Server Tool, called Gandanur (special thanks to Goemitar aka Omega) and it gives a new „updated“ feeling for the old but still best game ever Halo – Combat Evolved.

{L°E°}Tw1n rented a gameserver for his buddies, to gave us the "lag-free" feeling. Thank you man, you did it well now you got balls in your pants :D.

Some ups, Howard left {L°E°} and "re-activated" his own clan. Wish you many luck with it, also we quitted our second halo game server and are moving forward with the only one.


One of our oldest members {L°E°}f0mle stopped playing halo and try it with RL (many luck man - we still love you;)). Also {L°E°}manic is on "pwning his RL", wish you the best with playing the "drum-sound" of life.

{L°E°}Doom and {L°E°}p4In found back -for some rounds- to play Halo - and thanks you both,

to fix and help us with the webpage. The drunken but nice and friendly firefighter {L°E°}flo is back and active like never before, we love you <3.

Our Belguim "duvel-drinker" {L°E°}eXprt made an awesome "{L°E°}-TeamSpeak3-Skin" and is also working on a new design for our page. Great work!

Someday a guy called Revolver wanted to join the "beloved-brotherhood" and we gave him the chance, now known as {L°E°}KeV from Ireland.

The "applications" found no ends and we thought, you cant have enough vikins so here is our hug for {L°E°}hypnoz aka Stiga from Finland.

Further on, a guy called sanni wrote some strange and weird ;) things in our forum ... welcome to the Halo-Reach player {L°E°}sanni from Germany.

We decided to change our Webspace so we moved to a new hoster. Also we gave it up with ventrilo and using now TeamSpeak 3.

Also a big thanks to {L°E°}Error aka Bob for never looking on the page (so you will never read it ;)) ...joke thanks, you are serve us with your activity *kiss*

And no takeling aka {L°E°}takedown we didnt forgot you and you also found the way in the history -thanks for you intro, for your membership and also for your loyality- <3 you. Hola jorge como estas? ... you are still here? ...{L°E°}faria thanks for your activity, loyality, membership

and last but not least your lag - what we should do without that?:D -

Cry it loud ... welcome back to the soldier {L°E°}sk0gN now you are steeled to survive here!

We can say some nice words about {L°E°}zero (oh my gosh?), so you are still an "fish and chips ass" but an lovely one, can we take a bite? :)


One of our beloved "oldies" {L°E°}h@rm found the way back to his determination to hang up with the nicest guys around the world.

Tatatata about years of talking and hours of hours of working we finished our {L°E°}Clan "intro movie". Its not only a montage, its special like we are. So thanks guys for helping to reach that big destination!

As long as {L°E°} stands for Leipzig ... the whole clan talked about new names and in the finish poll ... now we are the {L°imited E°dition} Clan.

So some words about our leader {L°E°}N@J, you are doing it well with your pupils and we are all really proud to have a head like you.




Now we are in the sixth year of existing and what should I say … Thank you guys that you are still a piece of that Clan and also a piece of a wonderfull game.
